LEXUS LS400 TAILLIGHT Lamp Failure Module OEM 89373-50070
Forgot to add another thing I got at the pick/pull the other day. I pulled the Lamp failure module(89373-50070) which is located in the trunk on the driver's side just behind the antenna assembly. Since I got my car last year, it has intermittently set the brake light warning on the dash. I would guess it happens about once every seventh time I drive. It is annoying as I know all the brake lights work. When I got the car three of the bulbs were out, so it was on permanently at first. Anyway, I've replaced this module to see if that is what is causing my intermittent warning light. I'll come back in a couple weeks and let you know. So far so good on the replacement.

I'm pretty sure now that replacing this module fixed my intermittent problem. Haven't had the lamp failure light come on once since I changed it. Sure will be worth the $5 I paid for it at the pick/pull if that light never comes on again.

Just thought I would come back and say that it is two weeks since I replaced that module, and nary a light since then. I won't revisit this thread again unless I get that light back.

(Just for fun, thought I'd come back and revisit this thread. It's been over two years and I haven't seen that warning light since I replaced the box. Since I had been looking at antennas for awhile, I have seen several of them at the local pick/pulls lately. You might consider this if you have an intermittent like I did.)
