I'd have washed it before I took the pictures, but I don't think that car looks that bad for being 26-27 years old and having 170,000 miles on it.

While we're on the topic of paint, this car isn't on Craigslist, but it looks very odd with a smoothed bumper:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lexus-LS-Whi...-/302045435272

It's also overwhelmingly white from a full respray.

That actually seems decent, but I do see scuffs and it looks like it hasn't been washed. The interior is in pretty good condition overall, and the chrome wheels look great.

The main thing that caught my eye was the passenger side fog light. It looks like the inner parts of the light corroded, or something of the sort.. Very odd.

Wow. That is quite a bit of oxidization... I don't see a single panel or trim piece that doesn't need body work.

Yeah then the price should reflect the $8000. paint job.
I can show you 4 older LS's that are way better paint wise than that.
Look at post #24 and that was a $1000 car driver fender was fixed at one time rest is factory paint.

I can't even tell the difference in paint on that car. Looks like a perfect match.

Nobody is going to do an $8000 paint job on a car like that lol. It's going to be Maaco or driven as is. What more do you want for a $2800 car?

Just like the slogan I want perfection. And with crap paint it should not cost more than $600. Mine was $1000 and paints way better and less miles too boot. 133K.

And Celsior in real life not a picture its not a perfect match. Of my cars that is the worse one body wise it has a few little dings here and there and a few clear coat bird poo spots etched in.

Expecting perfection in a car this old is madness IMHO. The car is old enough to go out and rent another car without an age surcharge. Worn paint is to be expected.

Somebody will buy that car for way more than $600 lol

I can understand passing on this car for one with better paint if that's important to you, what I don't understand is the surprise and frustration displayed when someone has the audacity to sell a car in this condition. It's a really old
Car, most people don't expect perfect paint when they buy a car this old and this cheap.
