Default expansion tank question..

I know this is an odd question but, hoses going to the expansion tank. there is one on the bottom and one on the side. where does the one on the bottom go to the thermostat housing or top of the radiator? I can not seem to get a definitive answer, I THINK i know but i need to know 100%

May depend on year, on the 98-00 at least IIRC one goes to the radiator and one is an external overflow.

It's late and i would need to check in the morning, what year is your Hyundai Genesis?

looks like the bottom line goes back to the thermostat and the upper one to the radiator.
