Default 96 LS400 - Transmission Part Number

Good day Guys,

Looks like I need to swap out my transmission.

There is a junk yard that says that they have it, however they are unsure of which transmission it is, as it is amongst a heap of others.
I therefore would appreciate your help in assisting me locate the transmission for our 1UZ-FE.

A Part number or picture of the 96LS400 transmission would be helpful .

Thanks guys.

35000-50101

There is a red sticker on top of the trans that say's "50101"

There is a blue data plate riveted on the side that has the part number of 35000-50101 and that it's an A340E.

So is the one I listed an update? And following the convention it would be 35010-50102 then?

I wonder if the different numbers reflect that the units sold at the dealer are not new, and most likely just reman units?

Good question I'm sure the part number has been superseded but most all of the salvage yard units will probably have the one I listed. New units may not even be available from Toyota. I thought if there was a price on a site like you listed it would be available but that's just not the case. I saw where someone came across an OEM crate A340E on Craigslist for like $500. What a steal.
