So my LS is driving me crazy.! My car started having these misfires during idle, so i did the logical thing to do and changed the plugs and coils and cleaned out the intake manifold. in the process i rebroke the intake tube where it splits in multiple tubes (glued back together by previous owner). After i get it all back together my car goes full retard. when Im idle my car shudders but as soon as i start driving all is fine. then the day after, in idle my car shudders and tries to lunge forward, its shaky off the line but smoothes out when i start driving. then i would randomly loose power and when id full stop and start again it would be fine. and then if i idle to long, car shuts off.
please help.....!!!!!!!!

Recheck the vacuum lines and or replace any stiff ones. The ones to the intake plenum are quite critical.

Im actually a returning user, just forgot my log in lol.
but yea iv already replaced all my caps 2 years ago, and i got the good ones as recommended. I already pulled my ECU to check if the caps blew again. it all looks good.
I dont know much about vaccum tubes but ill start reading on them

What are the odds that a broken, glued together intake is leaking unmetered air, causing just this sort of problem?

When I was a kid all the old TVs and radio's had vacuum tubes. I was thinking a glued intake like aptoslexus was. So is the aluminum cracked and the crack is glued or what?
