i have leak in my 96 lexus. i think it's coming from front part of the exhaust system. is there after market exhaust system for 96 ls400? i think it was some thing like 400 for front section. i heard this is problem for ls400. what should i do?

For a complete exhaust system replacement I don't think anyone sells this here. There are some cat-back systems sold in Japan, but your problem seems to be coming from the front of the car if I understand correctly. In this case you could go with factory replacements from Lexus but this woud be very expensive. You can find aftermarket replacement parts (cats, y-pipe mufflers) that are higher flowing and may increase power very slightly. You never know, your problem may be something simple like a gasket replacement.

The SC400 exhaust system is similar to the LS and Peter Scott over in the Outback (australia ) has done extensive research on different sections of the exhaust system. His site (www.planetsoarer.com) has much info. Jbrady is another user here who is developing a higher performance system (full replacement is where the project seems to be going) which may be of more interest to you.

I've got an exhaust leak in my car and it turned out that I had holes in all three cats before i got my car and the holes were welded in.. pretty weird? So I gotta a friend at the junk looking to put some used ones to save some cash..
