I have searched Club Lexus forum and seen a number of threads on the use of LED in cabin lights, tail lights and other locations but have not seen any discussions on using LED for hi beam in place of the 9005 halogen bulb. A lot of information out there from suppliers but am not finding any thing specific to the LS400. I have a 2000 using HIR which are better then the halogen but still not, in my opinion, optimal.

Has any one tried changing out to a LED Hi Beam? I have seen a number of CREE based packages with 6000k - 6500K and +/- 4000LM.
