Default P1349, P0300 trouble codes, CEL and VSC

2000 LS with 207k on the clock now, I've owned since 188k. I'm on my second oil change, run 5w30 mobil one full synth, don't know what prev owner was running but appears to have had full synth most of its life. Prev owner replaced timing belt and water pump at approx 110k and appears to have taken very good care of the car. That's the background I have.

Yesterday on the way to lunch car starts to misfire randomly and then CEL and VSC lights come on. Pulled codes last night and got P0300, P0301, P0303, P0305, P0307, and P1349.

Research on here indicates a few probable causes. I'm going to diagnose in the following order: 1. Oil control valve 2. Cam position sensor 3. Jumped timing belt

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it.

That's a very good indication that your driver's side oil control valve if in its way out. You can remove it and clean it up with some brake cleaner but make sure to lube it with oil before reinstalling it. That has worked for some ppl. In my case it did not and I ended up changing it which silver the issue of the misfire.

There is a filter but you would have to remove the valve cover and front bearing cap to get to it.

Thanks billy for the pics, I did not have time to look for them. @Radi05 I did not think you would want to open up that can of worms lol.
