Water under rear seat on 1995 LS400
It rained and rained and then rained some more and I went into my back seat and found an inch of water on the floor and about an inch under the seat. Does anyone know how to remove the rear seat so I can get all the water out.
I have a 1995 LS400
THanks

Not sure about the seats, but if your sun roof was closed when it rained......I would say the cause is a clogged drain for the sun roof. Leaves and dirt probably clogged the drain tube.

Thanks, the weird thing here is the flood was only on one side and the back window on the top was soaking wet here as well. Do you think it could be the seal around the window.

If you have two black tabs inbetween the rear seat and carpet then here's how you remove it.....take the plastic cover off, then use a large needle nose pliers or something to grip the metal tab and pull that out, towards the front of the car. It takes some muscle, pull hard. If you can, at the same time, pull the seat up while pulling out and it should pop out. I'm only guessing that Lexus didn't change their seat design between the first gen and second gen here.
