Hello everyone, I was recently in the search for H3C bulbs for the inner Fog lights on my 1993 LS400. I came here first and checked out the recommended sites to go to. All of the sites listed to date were way over priced. I know quality is an issue, but i wasnt into spending $60-$100+ on a pair of bulbs that are going to be yellow no matter what quality bulb I put in there. SO....I went to google and search a while and came to www.ClassicGarage.com
Problem solved! they have an extensive selection of bulbs and 2 different types of H3C bulbs (White and Diamond Blue).
I opted for the diamond blue and they actually accent the yellow casing inside the lense nicely. They are also 85 watt bulbs instead of 55 watt factory. They also shipped my order Fed Ex and my friday order came on monday!! I was shocked to have it come that fast. well anyways the bulbs were like $11.00 a piece and that was for the upgraded "diamond blue". so im sure the stock white bulbs are even cheaper. NOT a good idea to run 85 Watt Bulbs when 55 is factory. You're run a VERY high chance of melt your harness which will cost about 30x times what those bulbs cost...

Also, be careful with CHEAP bulbs...cheap bulbs are made CHEAPLY. I've seen many cases where cheap bulbs blow up or break inside the housing. A broken one is a pain to get out, a blow up one, forget, it coats the inside of the housing with a resin that you'll need to wash and dry (real fun through a hole the size of your finger)

Get some PIAA, Koito, or Raybrigs instead...they cost more, but the quality is much better...and run the same wattage...

I have never heard of a bulb blowing up. Thats not cool. Alot of kids have the Blue bulbs as their headlights where I live and I dont like that look, but they have had their bulbs for quite some time and i have never heard of any problems. I guess ill take my chances. As far as the Wiring melting, it is so freakin cold here in buffalo that i dont see that being a problem. But thanks for the concern manaray.

My second set of H3C from classicgarage are dead again after 20 minutes of usage. Those are Korean junk. I am pretty sure now. A shame though, since classicgarage people are very nice people.

Yeah I just put some cheap ones in 2 weeks ago and the other day wondered why they aren't working today I pulled the bulbs out and one came apart in my hands and had a melting plastic smell. So now I will need decent ones. Never had that issue before.
