Default 1994 Sunroof Leak

1994 LS400 Sunroof Leak. I’ve read many comments on sunroof leaks. I still can’t find where the rear drains….drain to. The front drains are free and clear. Does anyone have a picture or diagram of where the rear drains are under the car? I really need to fix this, when my wife stopped the car it was a waterfall that came down on her and the passenger seat.

Please help,

You will need to start at the very rear in the trunk and remove the little black plastic retainers that hold that flimsy rear panel in, well theres the black plastic protector that comes of first I guess. Use a plastic pry bar harbor freight sell s them, to remove the plastic retainers you can also carefully use a small screw driver with electric tape wrapped around it. Once that is out then there are 10mm head bolts behind the tool box door on the left side panel and behind the door on the right side panel. Also there are more of those plastic clips or retainers that go into the floor of the trunk. The panels need to come off or be tipped out of the way to find the larger clear hoses that run down, I used 20 psi of air pressure to lightly blow air in them and of course the only real way to effectively clean all the junk out would be to remove the roof panel and the moon roof assembly. I have not done it but you could do the blow up the vent thing and then remove the moon roof that is an easy thing to do. Make sure to use a big towel or blanket on the roof and large piece of card board on it to place the moon roof on, then use a thin enough hose stuffed in a shop vac hose and start sucking back in the area, kind of like the dr's do when they do liposuction. Also when the moon roof is out clean the seal real good, and the opening, maybe it needs my wire tie fix to help it seal better. Make sure to adjust it so seal is slightly above the roof line using shims. Oh and when removing the rear plastic opening protector after the retainers are out then it pulls up there are hook things that poke down. Its been awhile since I've done it.
