Need Help-LS400 stuck in park, dash lights out
2000 LS400
160xxx miles
Originally the power steering pump was leaking into the intake and intake manifold. I removed the ACV plug and welded it shut as other threads recommended. After assembling everything back together, The dash lights do not illuminate, gauges do not work, the steering wheel doesn't go through its tilt process when the key enters the ignition, and the shifter will not leave park. The rear brake lights also do not work, even when the pedal is pressed.
I've read several other threads and many mentioned the brake light fuse. I've checked all fuses and none are blown.
One thing I have failed to mention is that while removing the alternator to get at the power steering ACV, I forgot to disconnect the battery. The ground wire was dangling and whiling cranking on the alternator bolts, my wrenched made contact with the ground wire and basically caused a small weld on it. Sparks went flying for a quick second and I shat my pants. As I mentioned earlier I reassembled the ps pump and alternator and when I thought I was out of the woods and ready to drive off I came across the dash light problem and stuck shifter. I am able to push the manual button to release the shifter but the lack of brake lights and gauge cluster make operating the vehicle relatively dangerous, especially at night.
Any and all insight is appreciated.

You may have blown a main fuse. I'm not familiar with lexus platform but on my nissan's there's a large in-line fuse on the battery terminal or wherever the cable goes into, like 100amps+ worth of fuse. Sounds like you may have blew it assuming lexus has those.

Look at the last post in this thread to see where the 120 amp fuse is and how to take it out.
