got a kenwood radio. and the radio kit for the ucf10. buttt the kit didnt fit. so i cut the wires before the OG plug to match them to the radio plug. butt that didnt work. so now my OG radio doesnt work. AC is off. locks arent working. steering tilt doesnt work. the cabin is pretty much dead. anybody have any clue why?? maybe a blown fuse or something?

A pic of what you cut would go a long way towards helping. Maybe you shorted something out.

Easy fix, just read carefully. Anyone ever considering putting an after market radio in a Gen 1 LS400.
Never ever ever cut the wires and splice. Get the proper adapter plug. Or if that is not available make one.

And really there is no reason what so ever to get after market, the factory head units will blow your ear drums out just fine, if that is what your looking for. Its a car not a concert.

Second rule never work on electrical stuff with out first disconnecting the battery.
