Default can these wheel still be mounted

I just bought these Euroline wheels, and there are some curb rash on the lip. The most servere one there a gouge on the lip of the wheel. Im just wondering if they could still be mounted and hold air?

They look like they should be good. Maybe go with a little bit of a stretch so the pressure of the tire isn't right on the gash

Why don't you just fix them so there's no problem down the road.

While the tyres are still not mounted, go to a wheel shop and get that fixed. In my opinion, I would fix the wheels before mounting them in my car. Better in the long run, cleaner look, ect.

Tires will mount up to that and probably wont even leak. It's when you get a crack or the damage goes pass that outer lip that it wont hold.

that will hold air for sure! if the tire shop says otherwise they don't know wassup. the tire actually seals on the inner barrel.

for example:

Those wheels are fine. That damage isn't anywhere near where the tire actually beads. You could fix them if you think you'll see it, but honestly, once tires are mounted on those, I doubt you'll even notice that damage. Personally, I wouldn't spend money fixing something that minor. You'll just have a whole new collection of minor curb rash in a few months. It is certainly not a safety issue, and there is zero chance minor damage on the rim of a wheel will make the tire leak. The tire beads on the back side of that lip. Unless there's damage there that you aren't showing in the pictures, those are fine.

I'm pretty serious about safety, particularly with wheels and tires. But there's really nothing there to be concerned about. If they were mine, I'd sand the edges of the damaged areas a little just so there's no burrs and mount some tires.
