Just thought that if anybody might be needing rotors, rockauto has them on clearance. I'm not trying to advertise or anything just thought it would be nice to share. They are about $15 each plus shipping.
They are having clearances for some rotors for the 93 also. Pads too. There's some front shocks on there on clearance as well.
Loading up on full front and rear brake rotor, pad and caliper rebuild plus front shocks of name brand parts for about the same as a set of mystery china rotors on ebay!
I haven't read the box the rotors came in but are these rotors coated so the hats don't rust? I'm in the process of changing a caliper and I plan to repaint the calipers with G2 since the VHT is cracking after a year.

I don't think they are coated because I opened mine up and they look raw. I'm sure you can coat them yourself.
if authentic brembo, they should be coated and will not rust.
Says who? A google search will turn up a million hits on rusted Brembos. I installed Brembos on the rear of my 98 last year and yep, the hats are rusty. Doesn't bother me as they're basically invisible beneath the stock wheels. I picked up the fronts in this closeout sale. Also got some Akebono ceramic pads on sale at Rockauto to go with them. Won't need to install them for a few years, but they won't get much cheaper than this.
hmm interesting, then i typed corrected. the brembos i've used are still nice and shiny to this day (on a different car though). maybe zinc plated ones were used instead. apologies for thinking all brembos came with the coating. zinc looks almost gold.

I believe slotted and drilled Brembos are zinc coated. These closeouts are not exactly top of the line. Brembo has manufacturing plants in 16 countries, including the US. They don't make them in Italy anymore.
