Default Wheel fitment help!

Hi I've been roaming around the interwebs for some wheels for my LS. I found a set of Work Wheels that caught my eye but I'm not sure if the offset is good or not, please if someone can tell me if it will be ok or not that would be great! I don't want to dig through other forums I'd like a straight forward answer.
Work XSA Staggered 18x8+38 and 18x9+40 5x114.3

The wheel fitment thread is where you want to be, make sure to look for vehicles of the same generation as yours. Brake clearance in the front of 95-00 LS400s is also a major issue.

Yeah I learned that the hard way on my first set, that's why I want to make sure these will be ok

Work offers them in varying configs so the shop or owner would have to tell you if it has proper brake caliper clearance. Those offsets are conservative/mild/ slightly sunk though better than stock.

Are you going thinking of stretch because those aren't very wide so a more typical 245 front and 255-275 rear for tires. At the given sizes and squarish tires, the fenders can remain stock unless you are going to be tucking then there may be some rubbing to work around.
