aptoslexus,

Please don't think I'm being difficult (or mentally challenged) but this diagram ^^^^^ again only shows colors and numbers...I need functions. Does this diagram correspond to any of your previous posts?

It's actually the last page of the radio wiring diagram. You have the complete wiring diagram there, with all the jpgs I posted. If you printed out the pages, you could cut them with a scissors, line everything up, and tape them together for a somewhat more easily read diagram. Now that I think of it, the pages might not line up exactly due to sizing issues with the jpgs. Should be close though. Here's a somewhat simplified diagram of the 2000 year. I believe this is Pioneer only. Might be easier to understand.

Thanks again for your reply. So, if I'm reading this schematic correctly it looks as if I would either have to run all the speakers from under the seat area, utilizing the OE amp wiring with a replacement amp, or run new wires back up to the HU from the seat area if I want to run the door speakers from it? I mean, it doesn't look like there is a "direct" connection to the door speakers to the new HU from the dash wiring (labeled here as "radio/CD player")??

Hate to say it guys, but I'm throwin' in the towel on this one. Spent most of yesterday trying to figure out this wiring with no luck - I couldn't even get the new HU to power on! Life sure would have been easier with a harness! Anyway, I appreciate everyone's input on this and it's off to the installer this week where I am sure they have more knowledge/patience than me.

Yup. I tapped into two wires from the OE harness in two locations (dash area and under the seat) and neither worked. I repaired those wires and called it a day. I'll just leave the rest to the pros.

Well, nearly 2 months after I made the decision to swap out my factory navi/audio/climate control system...it's finally done. Thanks to the guys at http://www.autofashionusa.com for finishing the project I barely started. Everything looks, sounds and works great!

Did they use anything in the original system?

Only the factory wiring for the door speakers which had to be connected from under the passenger seat. Everything else was removed or bypassed.
