Look in the corner of the engine compartment in back of the strut tower. Mines is on the passenger side though.

So is it possible to replace it with a louder or different horn?

I really have no ideal but with all the mods that ppl do on these cars I'm thinking it should not be that hard.

umm i thought the factory alarm was the horn itself... hit that panic button and see!
the little beep is just that, a little beep which is not meant for the actual alarm.
if you are looking for that, it's a little disc shaped diaphragm on the driver's side near the brake booster.
