Unhappy Brakemotive Rotors not fitting correctly - 99' LS400

Purchased a set of Brakemotive front and rear rotors, along with Akebono brakes. Local shop installed the fronts no problem but the rears did not match up properly. The two screw holes that line up with the hub to hold the rotor in place were not in the correct position. The shop gave me the option of having them installed without the screws but this would cause problems down the line as it is very difficult to install the rotor completely centered on the hub.

I spoke to Brakemotive and they said the model number sent out on the rotors is correct and offered me a refund. Has anyone had this issue with the 98-00 models? Is the shop wrong? Should I order rears meant for the LS430? Anyone use any other brand of rotors that for sure fit the 98-00. Thanks!

btw the fronts have been perfect so far, great braking, low noise, clean finish

Link to the ones I ordered: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-FRONT-2-RE.../391120560656?

I personally used Centric rotors with no problems.

I installed Brembo 25538 last year. Fit well.

Strange that the fronts have no issue. Have you tried installing the rears yourself? Those little screws are a pita. I had to drill one out. I don't think they're even necessary.

i bet the shop messed up on the install. on certain aftermarket rotors, the holes for the centering screws line up only in one position. did they try all positions until they lined up?

there is a possibility that the brakemotive rotors are correct for the application but incorrect on the design. this is an aftermarket company after all, but is great that they offered you a refund.

Centric's all day

I get mine from R1 Concepts, though they're coated and slotted.

That's very common for aftermarket rotors/drums to not have to holes for those screws and many different cars, not just these. They really are just there, in my opinion, to assist with the assembly process at the factory. Once you bolt the tire on, the rotor will be lined up, no problem.
