i cant figure out how to remove the cd changer in my glove box. my car is a 1996.

i feel retarded for asking but i really dont wanna break anything. i spent 2 hours looking at it today, but with no results! all i could do is take off the door. i am sure that you have to take off the lower glove box to get at the changer, but i couldn't even get that one loose before it started getting dark. i didn't think that it would be so difficult. damn well constructed lexus!
