Yeah she been acting funny the other day when i was driving i noticed the temperature gauge was Raising up and she only did it while i was at a complete stop but when i drive she cools down but the next morning while i was driving to work and i made it but i noticed steam coming from the radiator on top there was a crack i don't know what cause has any one ever experienced this but she has been trying to over heat for the longest but automatically cools down once moving i tried changing the radiator cap and the thermostat nothing helped maybe it was a clogged that caused the issue

Is not overheating while driving because air is being forced onto the engine and is keeping it cool. Once you stop the cooling effect stops. If you have a Crack in the radiator then you need to change the radiator out. Your losing coolant that's why you see steam. Once the coolant hits the hot engine it vaporizes and turns to steam.

If the electric fans aren't working it can have those symptoms and also engine fan clutch. On hot days with AC running it kinda needs them all. When the radiators get old the material they are made of gets a bit crispy, time for a new radiator.

How many miles on car? That crack will grow from the heat cycling and better to get it replaced ASAP. The possible result for letting it go is that you'll be talking with your mechanic about a blown head gasket situation. As in lots of steam coming out the exhaust along with a chocolate milk color to the coolant or oil. That's to late by then and with warmer weather coming on, this is a definite bad situation.
