High idle at start up lasts longer than it should
1990, after starting high idle stayed at about 1500 rpms for about 15 minutes.
I disconnected the battery today to work on radio and climate control stuff.
When I started it (sitting all week) I noticed after 3 or so minutes the idle was in normal range.
So the ECU must have had some past transient thing happen and reset fixed it. Just something to try when your having idling problems.
