not really like a probe, but that article is really old and has been debated in a thread before. there are updates on that article on autospies and it also talks about their 2006 LS600. autospies is a hint into the future i think, but not necessarily the truth always. they like to exagerate some of their stories i think...

The designers scrwed up the current LS430?!!! What the heck are they talking about? The car looks at the very least OK. I personally think it's elegant and great looking. It's classic and the fact that it's bulky gives the car a great presence. They don't know what they're talking about. I'd rank the LS series designs of different generations as follows:

1. first gen (beauty is in the eyes of the beholder? )
2. fourth gen
3. third gen
4. second gen

personally, i like the look of the LS. I think with the air suspension on high (how my dad drives it) it has too small of wheels. when i drive it on normal it looks better. i think the headlights and taillights could be redone some, which of course they will be, but i dont think it needs a total reskin. the tail lights look too much to me like toyota design (avalon style) , not like lexus. oh yeah, but i do like very much the Sclass look. i like it more than the LS
