Default Wheel Fitment

I really Did not want to have to post this but I guess its worth a try. I recently got some new wheels/tires and Before I even get them up to the shop where im gonna do the work I wanna make sure they will fit right. The wheel locks on the wheels ATM are in rough shape So I dont wanna risk taking them off to test fit and them not going back on. Buddy I bought them off said they Fit perfectly on his GS but to put them on the LS I might need to get spacers for the front, Can help me out? Much appreciated

XXR 521
Front 20x8.5 +30 Tires 225/35R20
Rear 20x10.5 +32 Tires 255/35R20

You could probably pull the rear off without a spacer, maybe a 5mm if anything. Front would probably need a 10 or 15mm. Best thing to do, if your LS is already low, is to just test fit one wheel on the front and one on the rear to see where it sits.

please tell us what year car you have!
if you have a 95-up, you have big brake calipers up front. that wheel is most likely not a high pad wheel.
those specs are very moderate BUT they still may NOT fit. final ride height is another factor!
2nd gen GS cars have small brakes so it will clear that car but not necessarily yours.
spacers will work to clear the calipers then you have to worry about the tires scrubbing the fenders (again ride height factor).

next question, how low are you? at stock height, and using spacers up front, these wheels will fit (but will look silly w/o a drop).

Oh no, I got a set of Bc coilovers I plan on installing before the wheels go on. I plan on dropping it about 1 inch to a inch and a half.

that's a small drop so it should fit fine w/o too much fender modding. here are some comparisons.
use this site to compare these offsets to your offsets, so you can get an idea of how much or little you will get.

Yeah its a slight drop, But due to my jobs entrance ill more than likely scrape with more than a inch and a half. Now should I just be on the safe side and get spacers, At least for the front?

just get the necessary thickness to clear your calipers. don't go more than needed. take a picture of the back of the wheels when you can and i can guesstimate what size spacer you will need.

Yeah, I dont wanna go over kill on it, I just got to work so it will be a little while before I can go home and get a an actual picture of the backs, But here is a general idea if it will work. If I remember right the ones leaning up against the other wheels are the 20x9.5
