Default Heat does not work properly in my car

I recently had my starter and timing belt replaced for my 1996 LS400. When I picked up the car and turned on the heat nothing but cold air blew out. I don't want to bring it back to the same dealer because of a "lost" cell phone. Does anyone have any answers about the problem?

was your water pump replaced during the timing belt change? either way the coolant was likely drained and not properly bled afterwards. air in the coolant system will not make the heater work. you need to bleed the system.

don't take it back (though it should be under a workmanship warranty), and do it yourself! see post #7.

Not good if a dealer shop couldn't do the job correctly. The engine could over heat too I'd be careful till you get it all sorted out.

just simple air bubble in the cooling system most likely. have them bleed it properly and you'll be fine.
