Default Saw her on the corner and decided to pick her up...

Ok not really. I saw her on Craigslist and I knew I had to have her. '99, with 134k miles on the clock. The interior is flawless, a 10/10. Exterior, I'd give about a 8.5. It has some clear coat peeling on the front bumper. The previous owner had a leather bra on the front. About three dings total on the doors and in the lower rear but other than that, she looks great.

Drives like a cloud and coming from a UCF10 WAY more power. Such a pleasure to drive that I've been neglecting the GS. I haven't decided when and if I want to start mods. With the UCF10 it was a no brainer because the stock suspension was toast. But the OEM ride on this one is so smooth, I almost hate to change it. IDK... I'll have to look into coilovers that ride as close to oem as possible.

She is a sexy beast indeed. I wish mine were that color.
I've been driving mine for almost a year and here is my take on modifying this car; It needs nothing, it has a great balance of ride quality and handling. IMHO Lexus got it right with this vehicle, I was much less impressed with the smaller Lexus models but this one... wow. I know Lexus dumped HUGE amounts of $ and resources in getting it the way it now sits.

Congrats on the great acquisition!

Thanks! This is why I'm so torn between modifying it to how I'd love for it to look stance-wise vs. how wonderful it drives stock. I'm leaning towards pulling the trigger on a good set of coilovers though.

Thanks! Honestly, I do think I prefer the UCF10 body style. Loving the hid’s + more power though.

Excellent find . Love the ones that have been well cared for. And like you... needs no mods to improve it really...
Kinda gives you that 'peaceful, easy feeling'

Nice LS! The only thing I would do if it were mine is swap out the wheels for the factory 5 spokes from a 2002

Agreed. Probably one of my least favorite OEM Lexus wheel. I've been looking for a set of LS430's but no luck yet.

Not worse than SC430 pie pan wheels, but still not pretty.

Ah yes! The pie-pans! Well at least with those you can remove the center and they look decent. Honestly, these stockies wouldn't look to bad if they were bigger maybe? Like 18".
