Default Help with front strut bar bushings (48674-40051)

My mechanic said I needed 2 x 48674-40051 bushings. Sewell shows that part for 95-96 LS400s. I am looking for a 2000 LS400. Where do you guys buy this part from? Mechanic says Lexus has discontinued this part and are recommending the entire control arm with the bushing attached and costs significantly higher!

Thanks.

yes the bushings need to be clocked correctly before being tightened down (as with all suspension bushings really). to reiterate, tab marked in yellow should be at the 6 o clock position before tightening.

Also, importantly, you can install the arm with the car n a lift/stands, but the car needs to be resting on it's wheels when you apply final torque to the bushing end of strut bar. Torquing it to spec without load ont he suspension WILL result in a prematurely torn bushing.

The spindle/LCA side of the bar can be tightened without load on the suspension.
