Any ideas would be greatly appreciated,
I have 4 seemingly good ecu's and the problem persists.
Just put in a GOOD IAC valve.

It only does it randomly, I'll go to start it, it will start, then die, then I try to start it again, and it will just turn over forever and not start, then I let it wait a min, and try again and whilst it is turning over I'll pump the gas pedal slightly, but rapidly and it start sometimes. Sometimes it will just start if I give it a few min and come back... any ideas?

If it starts when pumping the pedal it might be something gas related. Maybe your pump is going out. Have you checked the air filter, distributor, coils, wires and plugs?

next is to check your fuel pump. do you hear it priming when initially turning the key? it should have a distinct hum.
