My right side is leaking also. Doesnt hit the floor either. Im lazy so its been a year. Let me just warn you theres alot of disconnecting of hoses or plastic parts. Use a heat gun or hair dryer to soften them up before removal or you will break things like rubber bellows or vacuum ****.

Just another thing to check, make sure your power steering pump and hoses aren't leaking. When driving any leaks can blow right on the passenger side exhaust manifold and that can cause the smell also.
