I saw a gorgeous white 1st gen LS400 with a clear horizontal "strip" in the center of the tailights (or they could have been cleared), gold emblems, and a gold "lexus" license plate frame. The car looked very nice and clean.

-just in case this is a CL member- the car was at the intersection of lake ave and laramie in wilmette, IL.-

So, I was wondering what mods can be done to an LS?

LS400

That LS400 must have had 2/3 taillights (a common modfication to do). When it comes to performance, the LS400 is limited. But when it comes to cosmetics, the sky is basically the limit (extreme amount of JDM body kits and wheels).

i know that there are a couple of modifications you can do to the 1st generations such as torque converters, valve body kits, exhaust, suspension, i also found a couple of sites that sell cams for the car. i've talked to darren at 6deep and he told me they are working on importing a couple of twin turbo kits from japan. threre are also supercharger kits avaliable. it seems that there are a ton of things you can do to these car, the problem is finding someone who can import them. also lets not forget about nitrous!!!!!
