Hello Fellow Lexus owners. I have a 1991 LS 400 with about 125K. Lately, the 'D' Light on the dashboard cluster does not light up until the car has been driven for 3 to 5 minutes. Then it stays on fine. R - Rear, P - Park all work fine.

Has anyone else had a similar problem? Thanks in advance for your input.

Probably a sign of your cluster getting ready o fail. It's a known issue if you search in this forum for " Instrument cluster fix ".

It's the typical symptom of aged electric grease used at contact points at the neutral safety switch. It happens when cold and lasts for several minutes.
