93 ls400 cd player very low volume
Hello all.
I have looked through threads on here and elsewhere and have seen recommendations for building your own elaborate solution but I am hoping for another solution.
When I play my cd player the volume is extremely quiet. To hear anything I have to turn the volume up To halfway on the dial.
My radio works perfectly, aside from some static interference from antenna the speakers still provide loud and great sound.
My question is, what is going on from the cd player? Has anyone discovered the issue?
Has anyone pulled out the cd player and somehow fixed this?
If someone knows what exactly the issue is I would love to know.
Any input is appreciated.

I don't have specific advice but it generally pays to open it up and push in the connectors, blow the dust out.
In preparation, take out the negative connector for the battery and be careful with the plastic. In this weather, it gets more brittle and tends to break.
Does the CD sound come from all the speakers?
