Thats my title, but I'm just nitpicking )

Let me make you feel worse , YOU could of had the car for $2500.00obo. He had it in front of his house for 2 weeks with a for sale sign on it but you were too busy nitpicking to notice it. j/k.
He did have it for sale at that price in front of his house and not a knock on the door or a phone call about it. So yes I got a great deal when I asked him about it but anyone else could of still had a great deal at $2.5K or less.

Did he really just try to sell it from the front yard? If he'd posted it to Craigslist it would have sold in days at double the price.

Yep he did. I wouldn't have know about it except my mom happen to be visiting them and she called me later and said Buddy has that old car of his for sale if you know anybody who wants it. He's 82 years old and when I told him he could get a lot more for it he said he didn't need the money he just wanted to get rid of the car. I should mention that he had just bought a brand new LS and didn't bother to use it for a trade in. They are very wealthy and some of the things he does makes me wonder sometimes. He actually tried to just give me the car for nothing because of the relationship with my parents but I couldn't and wouldn't do that. I told him I would give at least give him the whole $ 2500 and he wouldn't hear of it as he said. So after arguing for awhile he sold it to me for the $1500 and later tried to give the money back to my wife when she was over there the next day. So that's the whole story of the 1500 car. I would have given him more but couldn't. I do really appreciate the deal and it was one of those right place at the right time. It could have been gone the first day he put the for sale sign on it had the right person come by, but when the car is sitting in front of a 4 million dollar house in Palm Springs most of the people driving by aren't looking for 15 year old cars lol.

Wow, that is ununsual. If he just wanted it gone I wonder why he didn't trade it in. Even the dealer would have given him more than $2500.

Let me know when he's getting rid of the 460!

Wow~! Should this make me feel bad for having my 94' currently listed in the classifieds for $2200?? (Yes that was sort of an endorsement, so to speak...)

I think you got a killer deal .

What a deal! The GS' wheels look great on it too.

How's it drive compared to the GS?

Actually much smoother. The GS is on 20's and tanabes so it firmed it up a lot. The GS handles fantastic just firmer where the LS on the 18's is so smooth but obviously not a canyon carver.

Yeah the 20s make a big difference in ride im sure. The 18s do on the LS too. I'm really impressed how great those wheels look on it. Your 20s look great on the GS too.

The LS is a great car, those cars take miles like no other. $1,500 for that car with only 130k miles is unreal...what a buy.
