They hadn't done the timing belt so I had a shop do the timing belt, water pump, crank seal, drive belt, thermostat and upper and lower hoses for $686 labor and my parts. Then after researching on here I bought and installed myself the coolant temp sensor, motor mounts, tranny mount, had all four rotors turned and I put in new pads, replaced spark plugs and all fluids and it feels like I'm driving a brand new car. I also stuck the stock 18" wheels from my GS on. I also bought all the capacitors need to redo my ECU which I will do in a little while.

btw, your shift **** is turned backwards, unless that is intentional
Your good Timmy, nice catch. Actually I was in the process of taking the center trim piece off when I took this picture. I needed to clean up the rocker switch that was sticking a little from where they spilled a soda or something. Its back in the correct direction now lol

Its a great looking car! but since its basically a gift I don't know about this "my 1500$ lexus" more like "pics of my gifted car to me that I'm super greatful for since I know many people on these boards worked really hard to afford their LS400's at full price and negotiate deals and fix them up from the POS Celsior they bought from Japan and spent a year repairing, I'm so greatful for this kind gift"
Thats my title, but I'm just nitpicking )
