For the life of me, I just don't understand why anybody would take a sweet, expensive ride like an LS430 and "ghetto" it into a cheap Neon or Civic body-kit look-alike. It says, "hey, my car looks like I belong in a street gang, so I'm gonna go out and pick up some ho's and drive around and start shooting people." I mean, I guess I'd understand if the owner was a drug dealer and wanted his posse to know when he was in the neighborhood or if he was some pimp driving the streets, but other than that, it makes no sense to me. It's the kind of car cops would always be looking to ticket because of the above assumptions. I don't know, I guess some people will try to get attention in any way they can, even at the expense of making themselves and their cars look ridiculous. Just my opinion. :thumbdown

But imo a stock LS430 is just plain Jane boring, but if it is not done right, I would still be happier with a stock one.

Like I said Eric, it was just my opinion. I've never lived in So. Cal where I hear that "pimped out" rides are all the rave, like in "The Fast & the Furious". Around the Chicago area where I live, the only people I really see who pimp their rides are young Asians & Hispanics, mostly to Neons and Civics. Believe me, those people get many from their fellow drivers. They also get stopped by the cops more than anybody else. I guess my area is just alot more conservative than yours, and I'm damn glad it is!

I guess VIP style (or any type of modification style for that matter) just "grows" on some people. Others, it's almost like love at first sight. Then some just don't like it at all (no matter what).
Well, I'm a huge fan of VIP Tuning.
