Widest Tire on 1LS
Whats the widest tire someone has tried stuffing out back? Im going out of the norm when it comes to modifying my car and going to try and run 265/275 up front and either a 315 or 335 out back. If I have to build over fenders, im ok with that. I'll be running ccw classics in 18x10 up front and 18x12 out back.

I was curious to see what anyone had tried before. I know what I want, but I wanted to see what people tried before having to do major body mods

Id like to know this too. If you've stuffed big tires under your ucf10 post up some sizes. Im going the opposite direction of a vip build and want to know what people have tried...

There is this amazing thing called a tape measure. Stick it against the shockbody/coilover and measure out to the fender lip with the car at your desired ride height. The number you get will be the max width of tire you could conceivably run without any deflection during loading. How much you have to decrease this number would depend entirely on the intended driving purpose and wheel fitment.
If you are trying to PINCH (opposite of stretching) a tire on to a smaller wheel the. You would need to reduce that width slightly less than a boxed or squared tire fitment.
It also depends on your alignment, wheel diameter and how crazy you are willing to get with fender mods. I KNOW, I can fit an 315/30/18 RT-615s in the back of my ucf20... Just take the time and figure it out... It's really basic math, and a little bit of research on tire specs...
