I have no center console lights or gauge cluster lights on my 93 ls400. Meaning no ambient lighting behind heater/radio buttons, no cig lighter power, and no gauge lights. the lcd on the heater control lights up and the lcd on the radio lights up when exterior lights off, if i turn the marker or headlights on i have no lcd's. dome, floor, and puddle lights and the glove box work but not the 74 bulb in the ashtray. ive checked all the fuse's for gauge, radio, cig, heater. a ive added a extra ground from the cig. and still nothing. got power at the fuse. ive googled galore. just going in loops now.

what else could it be?

anyone able to help?

let the wife drive it tonight and i was messing with buttons while she drove with the headlights on and things were funky. needles flickered and it lost the memory presets to the radio and reset. also made the indicator bulbs for selection on the climate control kind of flicker...

Thanks RA40, i came across that capacitor thread in my searching and was praying it wasn't that. guess ill give it a shot and see if it works. might just do the gas gauge capacitors the same time
