Hey y'all; I'm hoping somebody may have already done something similar, but I wasn't able to locate any answers through my search...

I'm trying to wire up an aftermarket BOSS Amp using the wiring harness from the stock Pioneer Amp that came in my 1994 LS400 to then power an aftermarket JL Audio sub.

The aftermarket headunit I installed has RCA outs and a remote wire, so those parts seem pretty straightforward...but I can't seem to figure out how to actually get the new amp powered. I was hoping to not have to run new power cables if I didn't have to.

If anybody has any advice, I'd really appreciate it. This forum has been a blessing for fixing up random niddly issues that've popped up in the 17mo I've owned the car.

I have a question where does your power wire run through the firewall? Pics would be appreciated

Haven't run any power cables yet. Was hoping to use the existing wiring in the trunk for the old amp.
