So no matter what I use, whether it be windex or water, paper towels or microfiber clothes, I CANNOT clean the inside of my windshield or my back window without leaving streaks everywhere. They aren't extremely visible except at the right angle or when there is fog or rain. But it bugs the everlasting shlt out of me. Someone told me newspaper works good?

Anyways. What do all you use to make the inside of your windshields and rear windows squeaky clean?
I'm taking her to her first show this saturday and I want her to be perfect.

Aside from all the dang bubbles in my rear window under the stock tint from when it rained a few days ago and then the sun came out and baked the car.

you need automotive glass cleaner, but it also depends on how dirty the glass is and how clean your cloth is. use a SUPER clean microfiber towel with even passes. it will take a few passes to get it streak free, and don't do it under the sun!

I have Armor All automotive glass cleaner and brand new microfiber clothe and that didn't work either.
I'm thinking of just removing the tint anyways. With the bubbles on the back and the corners flaking on the front two windows it's not looking too great.

Micro fiber cloth and 70% isopropyl alcohol. Spray it on the cloth and wipe. Don't get it on the plastic or leather. The gasses from all the plastic leave that residue and unless you've been regular at cleaning, that stuff tends to smear. Even worse if you use a UV protectant on the dash, that gasses out too. White vinegar mixed 30-70 to 50-50 ratio with distilled water works well too. The Stoners and Armor All also are good, I use both.

I don't use any chemical cleaners on film tint. For tinted glass, I use distilled water and a microfiber cloth.

Hey, I have the same issues with my windows in this vehicle. I'm not sure what it is but they seem to be particularly difficult to clean. It might have something to do with just how old the car is and how much grime they've accumulated over the years of people sneezing and coughing and who knows what else.

I find that either invisible glass or rainx glass cleaner works well at removing the grease ut it is important for you to use FRESH microfiber towels, otherwise your towels will smear. Also, make sure you don't get your microfiber towel to rub across your dashboard. The dash can be full of grease that will smear everywhere from people putting Armorol or whatever else on the dash pad. Always spray the product onto the towel and not the windshield as you will get over spray everywhere you don't want it to be.

In regard to rainx, make sure you are using the stuff in the clear bottle and not the yellow stuff. The yellow stuff is not the same as the glass cleaner and will smear on non clean glass.

As for the out side, use a razor blade to clean. Basically hold the razor at a 45 or greater degree angle with the windshield and spray it down good with your glass cleaner. then scape the entire surface gently. You can also try clay-baring the windshield after this for a super deep clean. I know taking a razor blade to glass seems insane but it works and will not scratch your glass if done properly.

One last thing is to make sure you do the procedure in very good light as you will miss a lot in dim lighting and it will annoy you to no end when you go out to brighter light.

I agree ^^^, also the tint shops use 70% rubbing alcohol to make it squeaky clean before applying tints.
