1995 LS400 acceleration problem

It is possible. How is the maintenance history? If the ecm is pulling the timing due to a stretched timing belt, it could feel similar. We wont know until we get more info. Start with the basics, fuel, ignition and timing. Check these thee first. Then check your wire harnesses for broken wires or fraying. Couldnt hurt to look at the electrical connections on the transmission. ECM will most likely need capacitors, but this is usually the last thing that is checked.
