Default Does Gs300 aftermarket big brakes also fit LS400?

Just wondering if anyone did this before?
Like brembos or any other after market brakes from a 2nd gen GS installed on a LS400 (95-00).
If the brake lines fit and mounting brackets the same

Post up any experiences

SC/GS/MKIV FRONT brake kits will fit all LS400s without issue.

Are there any reasonably priced 2gs/sc/mk4 brake UPGRADES to the LS brakes?
Everything I have seen has been $2k+ just for fronts...

guys with 2nd Gen GS's usually upgrade to the LS400 brakes. upgrade meaning 2 to 4 piston. Do you want Brembo or something or just upgraded pads and rotors? the LS brakes are great already hence why the GS guys get them

yes i've seen it, remember before just a few years ago nobody made LS-specific anything.

Don't recall about lines, may need to have custom longer-length lines made.

On topic of things you can use from a GS, you can use 2GS coilovers with your LS by getting a set of LS tophats for the rears, and slightly grinding down the lower mounting bracket (also on the rears, I believe).

Sometimes.
Im looking at some AMG 8 or 6 piston brakes only problem is the brackets and need to buy rotors.
Brake lines are easier to get

the OP was referring to aftermarket brakes such as stoptech, rotora, project mu, brembo, etc.

ksport does make a LS specific kit and only one person i know is running them and he is from germany.

Why amg brakes?

Brakets are fairly easy depending on it they are radial or lug type mounting.

You can get monsterous Wilwood calipers and hat for universal rotors for pretty cheap.
I was thinking of just making a bracket that relocated the calipers and then getting some hats that put some 13-13.5" rotors in the right plane...

Another reason why I hate you Cali guys... You can run summers all year round and don't have to worry about having brakes or RCA's too big for your winter setups!
