Default 1991 shift kit

Im about to buy a 91 ls400 and i want to know if there are any available shift kits for them
I want the option of choosing gears on occation but i dont want to do a full manual swap because i dont want to take away from the luxuries of an automatic
Help?
And can somebody tell me what kind of transmission is in this car?

a341e, research further on your own.

the SC forum has a lot more info but transgo makes a shift kit for the trans and at least 1 LS owner has installed it in his vehicle.

I had the TransGo shift kit in my LS for a little while before I swapped to a manual. You can get it through summitracing for under $100. If you have never done any type of transmission work, I highly suggest you getting a shop to install this kit. I also highly recommend you getting a transmission cooler too.

I think I have a wright up somewhere on here, but like PD ^^^^^ said, the SC forum has more info on it.
