Default AHH!! I Love Air Suspension in snow!

I might not be a LX or RX, but with the a/s I get a lot of ground clearance!

Its a useful option. In Cali, I use the "high" for deep bumps. Helps alot.

I doesn't do bad at all. I find with the combo of TRAC, ABS and A/S handles pretty well, while everyone else is skidding away my LS just grabs the road and pulls off!

Hey~
This is an intresting topic, I Have always wanted to know more about snow and the LS400. I have a 1994 LS without TRAC and I am possibly making a move to Rhode Island in the next year. I can imagine the LS is not all that great in snowy weather espically without TRAC. So does anyone have an LS in the northeast without this needed option, if so whats your obs ?
Thanks,
Paul

I would get snow tires if I were you or I wouldn't expect much at all.

although i do have trac control i still bought a set of dedicated snow tires and they make a big difference. also i find myself turning the trac control off if i happen to get stuck because it allows me to give it full throttle to get out. but i can tell you snow tires with make a world of difference!!

Cool

Your car will handle just fine with out TRAC. All you need is some good snow tires. The air susp is great for using in the snow, going over speed bumps and lowering it when your on the highway. My car is always lowered when I park it. If someone wanted to steal it, would take them a while to figure how to raise it so they can drive off with it. When its all the way up its a bumpy ride but one of the best features on my car.

Because no LS has a low option. I have an 01 LS430 and also only have the high and norm options. When he said low, I'm sure he meant norm or has the air suspension lowering kit installed. It's interesting to note that when you have it set to high, the car will actually lower automatically when you hit a certain speed (can't remember the exact speed off hand).
