Default hard to start in the morning.95 LS

I put in lucas treatment 4 days ago with only about 9 gallons of fuel in the tank.3 days later, it started acting up.On the 3 rd day ,it would not start unless I spray the air cleaner with a little carb cleaner.I have researched a lot and just don't know.I went ahead and filled up my tank.I have only driven 20 miles since the fill up.It still did it this morning. The car is currently idling outside.I went under and found the culprits for these things.I found where the crank, cam sensors, fuel filter and the most likely the fuel pump.I have ruled out the efi and the fuel pump relay in the engine bay.Any ideas before I finish this full tank and see what happens?.Another SC memeber had this same issue with that concerntrated LUCAS oil on a half tank.

Better hope it's not the starter. Major tear for that job.

I suggest you to check the fuel pump resistor bypassing relay. Is it properly working? The fuel pump resistor is bypassed when engine starts to get higher fuel pressure. When the relay fails, the engine needs longer time to start.

Another thing I worry about is that the density was so high that the build-up varnish at the fuel line was coming to fuel injectors and some minor clogging was occurred there. If so, it would be better to clean injectors professionally but before that empty the tank and fill the new gas with some proper amount of good solvent to clean injectors.

lucas treatment supposed to be added to a full tank of gas correct?! i agree the high amount of solution may have been too much for the injectors, or may have ruined your fuel pump.

is the bypass relay not the same as the fuel pump relay in the engine bay?if not , where is it located? My fuel pump relay is green. It will take me a couple of days to finish about 17 gallons in it at the moment.A whole week to see what really is causing the problem. No seafome for me until I finish this 17 gallons.Just changed the accessory belt on 2002 RX.I must be getting handy.I f I can change all 4 struts on my LS then I know the pump should be a normal DIY for me.

Unlike many others on here, I am telling you guys how I fixed it.I ran a scan and ordered the CRANK SENSOR from ebay.10 minutes under the car and not needing anymore ether/starting fluid,.....................it's now all fixed.

How many miles on car? We read about them periodically, I'm not recalling if we're seeing these go south at any specific miles range.
