Default Wheel fitment

Hey guys, I have a 93 LS400. My friend has some LM wheels that he might sell me. Im not good with wheel sizes and stuff. They are 18x8 with an offset of +33. My car isnt dropped or anything but was just wondering if they would fit with a little bit of work? Any help is appreciated.

Depending on the size of tire you are planning to mount, they should clear the wheel well and everything just fine. I would test fit them beforehand to make sure the wheel will clear the brake calipers.

you'll probably need to roll the front fenders based on height and tire size but it's a conservative setup so you'll be fine.

'93 won't have brake clearance issues either.

going along with the wheel fitment topic. how do I tell what the offset is on my wheels? I had 4 Concave Rota Grids but I hit a curb and busted one so now I'm down to three. I', looking to replace my one busted wheel and need to make shure I get the same offset of wheel. they are 18x9.5 wheels I looked at the back of my wheels and they have an e/38 under the wheel size markings and one lug nut over it has a C4/11. I'm gessing I eather have a +38mm offset or a +11mm offset. I hope its +11mm, if not I will be sad.

18s look good on the UCF10 19s are the biggest you want on it befor looking goddy.
19s look good on the UCF20 20s are the biggest you want on it befor looking goddy.

Now keep in mind I have a UCF10 and plan to lower it a good bit. Probibaly straight slamm it. I don't know yet as I don't have coils yet. I'm thinking of starting with Megan LPs and seeing how I like the ride and how low they go. If I still need it lower I'm going with BC coilovers. But I would prefer to spend the big bucks on getting a UCF20 and going nuts with that.

uhhh. its a matter of trial and error. every ucf be it 10,20,30 all look goofy with 18" wheels. in regard to Toyotas/lexus I've owned and fitted UCF20s, UCF10s as well as JZS147s

every single time i try to fit an 18 it ends up looking disproportioned. the main rule to stick to is min19/20 max.

a JZS147 is doable on 18"wheels but it still doesn't look as good. the only reason why i kept 18" is because the set i found were rare. i wanted 19s still though. the ucf10 in the pic is with 18x8.5 when i got it. the jzs is on 18s after i maxed out my coilovers and still needed more low.

10s can pull off 20"s but require a very aggressive kit, like the junction produce pictured, to pull it off.

I agree with PD. I also don't rilly like the UCF10 kits. The UCF20 on the other hand... oh lord they look good with the JP kit. But back on topic. I made my wheel size statement for stock bodied LS400s. Now the ride hight plays a factor in that to. Ya you can get away with 20s on a UCF10 at stock hight, but slammed it just don't look right. On a UCF20, 20s are the shiznit! But 18s are way to small for the UCF20. I'm going to stick with 18s so I can have decent meat on the tires and slamm the car. If I don't like the look of the 18s then and only then will I go with 19s on my UCF10.

It is very much a matter of opinion. Your GS is set up the way you like it. Low kitted big wheels and lightly stretched tires (if it's riding on 18's it doesn't look it). She's a mean looking Beast. Its just not for everybody. Which is why I said it is a matter of Opinion. I run LS430 sport wheels on my 98LS they fit just fine. Still at stock ride height; that's the way I like it.
