Smoke after starting the engine.
Hey guys, hope you can help me.
Think i have a problem with the engine... When i start up the cold engine.
Comes only "One" big smoke out of the exhaust and smells extremely on fuel and is black/blue color.
But more black than blue.
After that one smoke is all wright an no smokes until the engine runs.
The engine have only 113Tkm and its the UCF20 Year.99. I put before few months fuel washer aditive and after that was bether. But yesterday comes back... Anyone know what can it be?

Thanks for answer.
No Engine lights is on. And no faults with diagnostic tester.
The drive is good without problems.
Hm i think i check the ignition coils and compression. Any idea what i may check to?

If a -99 has similar problem with power steering the power steering fluid does not necessarily leak out of the reservoir but gets sucked in the intake causing smoking.
Does your power steering fluid level stay or does it go down?

Ah, good to know. Thanks.
No the steering fluid stays and dont go down.
I unloose today, during the engine runs, the plugs from the ignition coils one after other.
All of them works fine. And i hearded that the engine speed go lower.

Please change your idle up valve located at the bottom of your power steering pump, it is bad. This is a very common problem with these cars. All the info you need is in this forum, you need only search Good Luck.

Hey, Just want to say shortly that the problem is fixed.
It was realy the smoke problem with this valve.
After replacing this and having the arm full of steering oil... is all the best for now.
