Default ECT button

Has anyone ever replaced the ECT button on the console? The snow side of the button does not seem to work on my 99. When you push that side of it down, it pops right back up, and the light on the dash does not light up , even if you try and hold it down, but the power side works and lights up fine. Is it easy to replace?

It sounds like the switch is working properly. Mine works the same way. I doubt that the switch is the problem.

Mine works that way, except the snow light shows up on the dash.

do you notice a difference in throttle responce after you press the button? maybe your light just blew out?
