Default Any way to run an external line input via the CD changer?

My 95 LS has the glove box CD changer. In this day and age it's pretty useless. What I'd really love is to have an iPhone / iPod connector.

I'm currently using one of those crappy cassette adapters.

Is there anyone who has modified the CD input to a line-in input? In a perfect world an iPhone connector that would also charge at the same time?

Thanks for reading.

Or ship your radio to Factory Radio Service for a really cool rear mounted aux-in, with a front mounted on-off button and a 6' cable for remote mounting like I and several others on this forum has done:

I've done it and the sound is infinitely better than the tape adaptor.
A lot of guys have also done it with long term good results.

Kansas option works as well but is notedly more expensive.

I did aux in following that thread, sound was fine but our HU is quite weak for good sound. after a few years I ended up replacing it with after market HU connecting to ipod for music. completely deleted CD player.

if you already have an ipod, cost is just $50 to less than $100 used or factory refurbished.
