Default 18x8 6" backspace +40 offset will they fit 90 ls400

Hello. I have a set of 18x8 platinum apex 200 wheels with 6" offset and wondering if they will fit under my 90 ls400 with no suspension mods
also what tire can I fit without body mods. Thanks

Do you mean a 6" backspacing?

6" backspacing isn't really a decent measurement to go by... 18x8 40p offset (or +40) will fit that car fine though

Also depends on how much caliper pad there is on the wheel.
Neither of those specs is enough to say unequivocally the wheels will/won't fit. Are you buying them from a shop or private sale?
I'd test fit them before you buy them!

18x8 +40 should be easy to fit.

For $350 for 4 wheels I figured they would look ok on a 24 yo car lol. Just need to figure out what size tire now. I have read that 255/45 should work.

For an 18x8? 245/45/18 is gold for size. Keeps it right at the OEM diameter, so your speedo won't be off, and you have a nice fat sidewall to absorb some bumps. If you're really just looking for a set of wheels to update the car, maybe consider a set of LS430/SC430 18s? Those will look good, and can be found in that price range.
