Exclamation Australian LS400/Celsior Rollcall!

As title states, doing a rollcall for all Australian members!
May end up doing a meet in Sydney mid July, if people are keen.
I'll be rolling down from Queensland myself if anyone wants to join
me in celebrating the comfort of a LS/Celsior on a fairly straight forward
roadtrip!

I was born in Sydney but later moved up to QLD, so I have alright knowledge
of the area. But any import would be great. I'll be bringing my 1990 Celsior down
I was thinking either just a meet, or a meet and cruise. Maybe a city run, or even up
north to cottage point? Then back to the city to Harry's cafe de wheels?

Also anyone who could shed some light on NSW's rules and regs for modified cars
please post here! I come from the **** state where you can be impounded for revving.
So yeah, anything I should know?

Hope to hear from some more Aussies!

Hi UCF11R. I'm down in Vic and have a '99 model and it's diamond pearl white with an off white interior (ivory?). Almost unmarked inside, I'm very fortunate that the seats are very good though I ponder putting seat covers on at some stage. The car has just clicked over 300,000 Km. It does need mechanical attention here and there, aside that it does drive and sit on the road quite well.

Regarding the RTA rules for modified cars, some of the pdf files on this page might help.

This too, maybe:

cheers

Cheers for that Kev, you should head up too! I hope to try and get it big enough to make it worth it. I've had a background in running events/cruises up here. It would just be nice to meet some like minded people! As most of the scene up here is arrogant younger kids. Not that that's bad, it's just respect for someone's car is non existent.

If anyone joins onto the thread and have worked with the bulletcar company in Australia, let me know. I keep going back and forth on whether to mod my car, and with only a few options, I want to collect any experiences, good or bad with the bulletcar company. thanks!

Thanks for the response. I don't see a roadster on their site, but it looks like they have a bunch of different types of kits, so maybe they did a roadster too. It's basically bullet cars dot com based in Queensland - not sure if it's the same place. Thanks again!

Yeah the bullet roadster is the Miata looking thing. They do some great work I've seen a few of the roadsters in person. My favourite being the 13b and supercharged 1UZ variants. So much power in a little lightweight car is simply insane haha. They do great chassis work too! I'd definitely buy from them.

I'm 12,000 miles away but own 3 Celsiors, 2 1994 models one UCF10 B Spec on springs,1 UCF11 C-F Spec on air and a 1997 now being broken.
Not very many in the UK probably most of them on my driveway.
One day I'll jump on Quantas or BA and get over there I hope.
